Collotte Fixin Les Champstion 2022 SALEMade from vines planted in the early 1980s this wine shows lovely aromatics and remarkable finesse for the appellation. Fixin is renowned for producing sturdy, rich Pinots yet here we have a wine with much more finesse than one usually expects. A beautiful introduction to the wines of Fixin and great value too, for this appellation just to the north of Gevrey Chambertin.

The 2017 vintage was warm and concentrated

About two-thirds of the fruit is put in the fermenters as whole bunches and the remaining crushed on top

very aromatic with hints of cherry plum tart
