Sheepskin Lounge Chairs TissoA large, inviting armchair produced Denmark c1940. This chair has wonderfully curved arms and thick, round front legs in fumed oak with a winged back. The chair has been been refurbished at our London workshops with new padding and reupholstery in premium Australian sheepskin. Denmark became known as the finest producers of upholstered armchairs in Europe during the late 1930s and 1940s. Many high quality workshops and factories across the country

round patinated oak legs are finished in Danish oil and the chair has been completely reconditioned by our in-house team at our workshops in London and reupholstered in premium sheepskin

In the 1930s - 1940s Fritz Hansen produced some of the best examples of traditionally upholstered armchairs in Denmark

This example is made from highly figured rosewood with woven rattan cane seat and was produced by Poul Jeppesen in Denmark
