Hilly terrain at Sagale Thesiger CollectionView of hilly terrain, where the battle of Sagale was fought between Ras Tafari and Negus Mikael in 1916. In the distance is the position which was held by Ras Tafari, later crowned Emperor Haile Selassie, photographed from that held by the defeated Negus Mikael. Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
