We used 4mm needles for the swatch as the yarn is very smooth and this worked and blocked out really well. The yarn takes the dye nicely and as expected with alpaca the colours have a soft muted tone.

This is a wonderful DK with the addition of yak this gives this luxury yarn a little texture

This also works nicely paired with something like type 49056 for a more open fabric with a halo
